'Oenone' Characters as Sims

One of my favorite things to do is create my characters in The Sims. I'm not particularly artistic, and character art is expensive to commission, so this is my favorite way to bring my characters to life visually on my own.
Over the years since I began writing 'Oenone', I have made the three central characters in The Sims as a way to get over writer's block as well as a way to see them with my eyes rather than just in my mind. Assigning them with Sims 4 'Traits' is also a fun character study challenge!

What am I reading right now? Our Rogue Fates by Sarah Glenn Marsh.
This 2026 debut comes out in April of next year. Rogues is a page-turning adventure love story focused on three childhood friends on a quest to find a treasure. Danger besets them at every turn, but they don't let that stop them from exploring their connection, traumas, and emotions. I've grown to love Mal, Griff, and Alys (and Whiskey and Badger of course) and I'm on the edge of my seat with each new obstacle they come across - hoping they'll all be alright. Not to mention this book is funny! I have laughed out loud at the dialogue at times. If you enjoy reading fantasy, adventure, and a heartwarming queer love story, then pick up Our Rogue Fates when it comes out next year!
