New 'Oenone' Character Art

I'm excited to share some character art I recently commissioned from Vera, @veravero.art on Instagram. She brought Oenone, Jasen, and Paris to life so beautifully that I also reached out to commission a scene from her, which I'll be sharing within the next couple of months. What am I currently reading? Knives, Seasoning, and a Dash of Love by Katrina Kwan.
I just started this the other day, but I was immediately sucked into the story! The characters of Alexander and Eden are so strong and I got a sense of their personalities right off the bat, as well as the simmering tension between them. Katrina Kwan is very well-versed in the kitchen, which is obvious due to her in-depth descriptions of the inner workings on the La Rogue kitchen and its' staff, as well as the dishes they're preparing, however the detailed descriptions don't bog down the story. It can be a tough line to walk and Kwan does it masterfully.
